    Everyone,

I'd like to suggest an IRC meeting in the near future for everyone who may have some input on the upcoming Co8 4.1.0 release, as well as the current state of affairs here at the site. There seems to be a fair amount of confusion and uncertainty lately, mainly stemming from a lack of coordinated communication as near as I can tell. I'm posting this here in the modding forum as there would be no need for general members to attend, though they're of course welcome to if they're so inclined.

Now, the most important factor for this meeting is that it be held at a time that is entirely convenient for me. (just kidding) Seriously, what would be a good time for everybody? A weekend, I assume? I think the maximum time differential for us would be Cujo in New Zealand, and Blue in west USA maybe 18 hours behind? So say 2:00 a.m. for Cujo is 8:00 a.m. for Blue the day before . . . and 11:00 a.m. for me, just about the time I'd be rolling out of bed after a nice long morning of sleeping in. ;)

Let's try to make it work some way or another. Please chime in.

    Gaear

a weekend day sounds good to me...the modders are the ones who need to attend the meeting...they should decide the particular date and time...

Umm, just a suggestion here, could you specify which time zone your refering to as well as the time of the meeting (I missed the last one, I think I was sleeping) EG 2:00am GMT+/-# purely because guys like me (in a mono time zone country) don't usually know how many time zones ther are between x location and y location.

Oh yeah, and weekends are good especially if there is a WWE PPV on in the USA.

I keep weird hours as is due to damn shiftwork, so my down-underation shouldn't be a problem. Hopefully. Ideally. Perhaps...

You want me to get up and be rational at 8:00 am on a weekend?!

Actually Cujo is 20 hours ahead of me, so 8:00 am my time is 4:00 am the next day for Cujo, and 4:00 pm the same day for Allyx.

    Breaking it down we have:

    Blue at GMT - 8

    Gaear at GMT - 5

    Allyx at GMT

    Ted at GMT + 11 ( I think)

    Cujo at GMT +12

Anyway you slice it, somebody's going to have to either be up or get up in the wee hours of the morning. I'll take that bullet for the community, but it will have to be a weekend. Let me know the date.

    Here's a useful timezone tool:

    http://www.timeticker.com/

    And here's a proposal:

    Sunday, April 2, 7:00 a.m. GMT

    =

    7:00 a.m. 4/2 for Allyx (GMT)
    9:00 a.m. 4/2 for Morpheus (GMT +2)
    12:00 p.m. 4/2 for Agetian (GMT +5)
    5:00 p.m. 4/2 for Ted (GMT +10)
    7:00 p.m. 4/2 for Cujo/VS (GMT +12)
    11:00 p.m. 4/1 for Blue (GMT -8)
    12:00 a.m. 4/2 for Darmagon (GMT -7)
    2:00 a.m. 4/2 for Spike/Krunch/Gaear/Heavydan, etc. (GMT -5)

Seems like Allyx is up at that time anyway. Plus me and Spike and Cappy are often on at 2:00 a.m. our time. Morph might have to get around a little early for a Sunday? Should be cool for Ag, Ted, Cujo, and VS, unless Ted's sleeping due to night shifts. Don't know if D-Gon will even be there. Not quite sure where anybody else who might care to attend fits in . . . Nerik, Cuchulainn, Bradrinwi, Kalshane, Zebedee?

Plus, Sol's always there. Wonder if Silent Jim will make it? ;)

Also - talked to Morpheus recently, he is among the living. :mrhappy:

5pm? I get the easy task (yes I am werking the night b4, but also 7am the morning after, so it doesn't pay to sleep much in between).

    C u there!

Unless he's abroad, Zebedee is in the same time zone as me (but not quite in shouting distance), that time sounds ok to me, count me in.

Been back for quite some time now. Unfortunately, another project has kept me busy.

Honestly, I don't know if I'll be able to make it on Sunday, though I'll probably be up already. One of the drawbacks of having two toddlers around is NO MORE LIE-INS... The lil' buggers always make sure to wake you up very early in the morning.
