Can someone make this spell work as it should?? It would be great if the sphere could actually move with your party. At least that's the spell description. And in the game it doesn't seem to centre on a character but it stays in place.

Yeah this bothers me too, and more so - the sphere never centers on the character I target, even if hes the only one in the target area, I find this even more annoying..

why should it move with you? it's fine enough when it stays in one place so any1 that walks trough it turns invisible

Because that's how it's supposed to work. This is not fine. It is broken, and should be fixed if within the realm of the modder's talents. I for one do not want just anyone who walks through it to become invisible. It obviously concerns someone else enough to mention it, so stop spamming, you raging moron. You may not be devil/dom, but you sure act (...and post) like him.

    :finger:

Can someone please turn on the idiot filter?

The Invisibility Sphere is a higher level spell, but when one of my characters was zapped with permanent invisibility, I stopped using it. And I also stopped using it because it didn't move with my party. The level two Invisibilty spell is better.

The designers should not have tried to be fancy with the "sphere" concept. It cuts down on tactical placement before combat and on mobility during combat. The higher-level invisibility spell should simply be one where everyone within a specified diameter becomes invisible. If characters move out of that diameter and go their separate ways, they should remain invisible as with an ordinary invisibility spell.

The highest level invisibility spell should be one that gives everyone Greater Invisibility. I think that's the way it was on earlier D&D games. :cool2:

that might be able to be done, a cross between the code for bless and invisible...

Does bless "move"? I thought it was a burst effect, and that allies within range were just affected until time ran out, even if they moved apart.

But there are all those bard songs with floating effect-bubbles. That could work, code-wise.

Minor globe of invulnerability moves with the caster, doesn't it?

Well yes, it would be like mass invisible, eveyone gets it and then can go off on their merry little way.

Sorry allyx don't know about that one, never trust a person that can mess with reality thats what I say...
