i was looking around but i didnt find an answer for this and the patch itself doesnt have a read me file. what goes where?
If you are using the front end you extract it into your ToEE root directory. The default root is c:\program files\atari\temple of elemental evil if you haven't changed it. Make sure that the last module you ran was 4.0.0 before you do. If your not sure which the last module was select 4.0.0 from the frontend start the game then exit. Then extract the patch. If your not using the front end it is a bit more complicated, and I haven't tried it but there are threads, that explain non front end installation. Hope this helps
If your not using Frontend (I recommend you do) you cane extract the 4.0.1 patch to a temporary file (the desktop will do) opne the "modules" folder and re-name the folder "Co8-4.0.0" to "ToEE" (without quotation marks), then cut and paste it into yout ToEE installation folder.
