It is not supposed to show up in Front End, it is supposed to just patch 4.0.0. You have two ways you can go here. You can open the Co8 4.0.1 folder and copy the two folders in it into your ToEE root directory, or (and this is the one I would recommend) you can download the unzip and play version from this post:

    http://www.co8.org/forum/showpost.php?p=26528&postcount=40

Just follow the instruction (they are the same as what you did for the 4.0.1 you already unzipped), and the next time you start 4.0.0 it will be patched up to 4.0.1.

    Hello to all.
I have a question about 4.0.1 patch installiation.

    I installed 1st and 2nd Atari patches, (1)
    replaced toee.exe with analogous file (but no-CD ;)) from gamecopyworld.com, (2)
installed CoE 4.0.0 but without fronted (just removed first marker in "Select component" menu), so it replaced some original game files as "Information" says. (3)

Now question: is it possible now to correctly install 4.0.1 patch by just unziping it to ToEE root directory? Will game work with all updates after this? Or I have to reinstall game and CoE 4.0.0 with fronted (Microsoft's .NET framework as well >_<) and do as installiation manual says?

    Many thahks to your attention.

P.S. Sorry for my English *sic*

Just get the unzip-and-play version I mentioned in post 2 and unzip it into your ToEE root directory. No Front End needed. It works for both installations.
