I just got ToEE today through amazon, anyway, I've installed it and reinstalled it a plenty, everytime I try to run the game, the screen goes black for a moment, and then goes back to my desk top dropping the ToEE entirely. My comp is a emachine w3115 with an extra gig of ram, with a acer AL 1706 Ab lcd monitor. (This is my second time purchasing this game, the first time was at my sister's house ((her young kid got a hold of it)) and it worked fine there so dont think Im installing it wrong. I tried the diagnostics on Atari support and nothing so far has worked, any idea what is wrong here???)

I down loaded all the first 3 things, along with a patch for the game, with these drivers I can open it up, it runs through the credits, atari, troika, wizards...then boom back to desk top. I dont really understand the directions for what you talked about Windows XP + Media Center + 2000 nVidia Forceware Driver Release 90. I see a ton of different options of things to download and have tried a few and nothing works. What specific thing should i load?

The reason to install them is to update the drivers for your hardware. The first three listed are the last drivers for your W3115 desktop computer. You should at least install the first three drivers updates I linked for you in my previous post. Now, if you want to further install an even newer driver update just for the video in your computer, you can install the manufacturer video driver from nVidia, the fourth (last) linked driver update.

Once the drivers are updated, go in to the video properties and set antialiasing to be controlled by programs [if the option is available].

Also, you can go in to the BIOS and look to see how much physical RAM memory is set [or is allowed as a maximum] for sharing with the video in your computer. Check your owners manual for specific details of going in to the BIOS and changing what memory is allowed to be shared. (The maximum amount that can be shared in your computer is 128 MB.)

I'd also try installing a no-cd patch before getting too carried away with mucking about with your drivers. Not that I'm going to link one (google is your friend) but if you follow the Co8 install instructions, you'll want a no-cd patch for Atari offical patch 2.

This problem has been fixed before with the solution Gaer suggests or the one I am suggesting here. Of course, Krunch's advice will be critical if it cannot be solved more simply :)
