For both ToEE and Co8, corrupted saves is often quoted, but myself I don't remind have ever any in past (10 years ago or more).Bugs yes, but the game saying a save is corrupted nope I believe.

I have forgot a lot of the game, and now replay it with Co8. That's my 7 starts, sigh, but not because of bugs, 4 to change party, I to finally stick tomy choice, 1 to try Co8 NC, one to try Co8 Std.

So I try stick to Co8 Std current play, everything was fine until I realized I did a big error by forgetting buy any potion. It was a bit tedious to travel back to town for that, and preferred try load a few save back.

Then I quoted in party formation, in all but one the dog of my druid had disappeared. It's weird because in last saves there isn't this problem.

I started wonder if it was a hint of something already wrong. I never use quick save, always save to new file, disabled auto save, and try remind launch the GUI so game cache is reset, but sometimes I could have forgot.

So any comment on clues of save corruption coming?

some would say that simply saving is enough of a warning that a corruption may be lurking in your future.

Time to play "hardcore" with no saves - you've got one shot to start and complete the game in one sitting [IMG]

Thank you, too bad there's no clues, that said the bug I mentioned with pet not shown in formations, it had no link with specific saves, for a same save loaded it could be here or not.

Never save would be possible with the adequate tech, like hibernate. :)
