I have a problem with hezrou stench effects. Just arrived in Verbobonc and checked my stats after shopping. Four of my five characters have -2 due to spell Hezrou stench on all skills. So I went to Jaroo and had my first character reincarnated as per the instructions in the help topic. Now the interesting ting: After the treatment (of only one character) all four inflicted characters hve -2 to skills due to spell_none. Any ideas?
I can't say for sure because I have stupidly overwritten the save file from before her fight, but I think so. Could have been the fire guardian as well because he summoned hezrous too.
Thanks for the offer but I found a solution. I remembered that my priest has used heal on the character who was not afflicted. I read something about hezrou stench being a poison while searching the forum for a solution. So i tried and neutralize poison is the cure.
Perhaps that should be added to the spell.end thing. Has anyone else had this? I thought Ug or someone redid Hezrou stench to get around the problems?
I actually re-redid it because the spell object method had issues as well. Looks like one slipped through the cracks nevertheless...
It's not a big deal if you know what to look for and how to cure it. And at a level where you get to fight Hezrou it should be easy to get enough neutralize poison or heal for the whole party.
