Ok, I've looked through all of the post's and can't find any answers that are straight. The mods/ patches sticky is great but it was too jumbled for me to make much scence of it. I have downloaded and installed PAtch 1 and 2 from atari. I have download both the Co8 4.0.1_patch and Toffee.

I extracted Co8 and Toffe, but fear I did not do so correctly. What exactly is the process for this. Do I just straight out extract everything in the data folder to the data folder in my ToEE directory and the same for the modules? I did this and was not able to loot and bodies and when I launched Toffee it did not show and of the modules other then Co8 4 and the original ToEE.

Now, I may have extracted both data and modules folders from Co8 patch into the ToEE data folder. I'm at work so not 100% sure so that may explain why I don't see anymore modules. But what about the looting? Do I need to unistal everything and start from scratch? Do I need the temple.exe file that I've hear about or is it included in the Co8 patch? Do I need any other downloads or patches other then those I have?

    Install order:
Patch 1 (if needed - many don't, but some do)
    Patch 2
Co8-4.0.0 (has an installer, includes toffee, but not Microsoft.NET - required to make it work).
Then you must start the frontend, and select the 4.0.0 module, save your settings, launch, then quit the game (this enables the 4.0.0 module as the current loaded module.
Extract 4.0.1 to the ToEE install directory, and your all set.

To check that the 4.0.0 mod is correctly installed, start a new game, if Kent laughs when he talks, it is successful, to check if the 4.0.1 patch is installed correctly, have your wizard or sorcerer use thier call familiar ability, open thier inventory and drag the familiar to the use item buton, if it gives you the area for your familiar to be summoned to, then that too is successful.

Hell I'd just be happy to know where the hell to find "Co8 4.0.1_patch". :)

And do I have to do anything else to get all the custom modules like Desp Housewives ect or are they included? Like I siad none were displaying on Toffee but Co8.
And is the temple.exe file included with Co8? And I should have microsoft.net, I'm not at my home computer so I'm not sure. If not can I download it somewhere?

    1. If you already installed ToEE, use the Add or Remove Programs applet in the Control Panel to uninstall both the Co8 4.0.0 MOD and ToEE. And, after the two uninstalls, delete all the remaining game folders for ToEE.
    2. Reboot the computer.
    3. Install dotNET version 2.0 redistributable (x86), not a Beta version. (Search for and find it to download it from the microsoft.com site.)
    4. Reboot the computer.
    5. Install ToEE using the two ToEE CD disks.
    6. Apply the Atari Patch1 and Patch2. (I recommend you install both.)
    7. Install the Co8 4.0.0 MOD.
    8. Replace the ToEE.exe file with the NO-CD fix version of the ToEE.exe file. (Search the Co8 forums for the NO-CD fix to learn where to download it from.)
    9. Reboot the computer.

Note: The Co8 4.1.0 MOD is still in development with ongoing changes and updates. Don't install it--it is NOT spelled out; it is not a simple setup; it is in developement. And before you ask, no, no one knows when it will be completed. I would also suggest you do not install the Co8 4.0.1 Patch, either.

PS: When you install the Co8 4.0.0 MOD, the first checkbox option [when selected by clicking to place a checkmark in that option box] will install ToEEFE.
