    Hello, all.

ToEE is my favourite game. I played it from begin to end it about 8 times.
Also I played Circle_of_Eight_Mod_Pack_4.0.0.exe. It was cool.Monsters are now not so stupid especcially casters.
    My great thank for that.
BTW: Game crushes after killing Demon in Hommlet in quest Desperete housewifes.a
Recently I know about Keep on the Borderlands.

As You may noticed, my English is not pretty good.(russian)
so Plz don't push me hard:)
Recently I found info about this mod. I tried to find out if mod is playable now and how to install latest version. But useless:( I am stupid.

Plz Can you give me answers.
    Is mod ready?
Is it in testing?May I take part in testing?
Really will be new locations and NPC in mod? Is so It is unbelievable.
How to download and install latest version to play?

KotB is still in development. It is not yet ready to play, not even for testing. What exists so far is only usable for development.

Yes, all the locations will be new. You will not see a single location from ToEE.

If you are interested in helping make KotB, the other threads in this section will tell you who to contact and how to get started. But as yet there is nothing to "play".

.NET isn't used in the game. Agetian has used it for his amazing tool, ToEE World Builder, which we rely on heavily to do all our modding, and for his Front End, the loader which allows you to easily switch between modules and customize the modded game options that members of Co8 has developed.

Everyone can help in modding both ToEE and KotB :)

I am a complete programming idiot but even I can play with dialogue files and am just now learning how to script. If I can do it, anyone can do it. :eyebrow:

As Blue says, have a look around the forum and see if there is something you can do or think you can learn to do. All the modders here are very friendly and are always willing to help out and explain if you don't understand something :)

I read the topic about Starter Pack and didn't find wich version of Circle_of_Eight_Mod_Pack it requires?
I have 4.0.0 and when I try to start game (Begin Adventure button) the game crushes.(Acess Violation exception).

    Ted's installation instructions:

The version of Co8 which you have is unimportant. What is important is to have the Frontend (toffee) and to create the folder data.kotb and put it in the right place.

    Hope this helps.

Wasn't he a character in ummmm Henry IV?

Its for testing purposes - so u can trigger combat, deal with it instantly, and get on with life.

Edit: there is an inn, I could have sworn it was working.

O and its not a game yet - it is to be developed, not played, at this point. Are you saying you would like to help? Send me an Instant Message if so :)
