Ok, since we have quite a few technically proficient folks here, I thought I would ask this. I want something i can write txt docs on so i can mod on the run - when I am stuck at some stupid temp job staring at the walls, for instance. A PDA if you will, but all I need to do is make txt docs. Ergo - - it has to have a proper keyboard, however small - it has to be insanely cheap (since I am not paying $1000 for something that can connect to the net, play videos and do heavens-knows-what else that I DO NOT NEED). It can be anything. A spell checker with USB connection that you can type long stuff into. A portable email device (i saw one of them going for $10 once and was too stupid to buy it. It was perfect. Can't remember its name). A phone. A gameboy-style thing. Anything at all that is cheap, can export its text and has a keyboard. O and its gotta be smaller than a full-fledged laptop of course. Something that can be kept in the pocket. Any ideas?
