help finding Verbobonc - may contain spoiler

i know i spelled it wrong but i just picked up two npcs and they want me to escort them to veb. now where is this place? i cant find anyone to show me on my map. please help! ive searched through and found refrences to a bug that wont allow the girls to mark my map. if this is the case how do i remedy this?

If you talk to one of the NPCs that ask you to escort them to Verbebonc, they used to always take you there...

I'll assume you're using the newest 5.0.2 patch. Well, first, leave the temple. When you have access to the World Map, the name "Verbebonc" should be on the list on the right side of the screen, with everything else like Hommlett and Nulb. Just click on the town name, and you'll go there.

It won't actually appear on the map, both for technical reasons (the Co8 folks couldn't find a way to actually get such a change working) and canon ones (it's not on the area the map shows anyway, if memory serves - I believe it's quite a ways northwest of Homlett and Nulb). But with the newest mods you can at least get it on the list of locations you can go to, as SHadowdragon said.

I was taken to Verbobonc; but it doesn't appear on the list of places to visit. I am running 5.02.

i am running 5.0.2 and they did not take me straight there nor did it appear on the map however there seem to be a few other um bugs that were not fixed either like the looting bug for example. and the quick scather didnt work either. but i digress i would just like to see this verblonc after all the work the wonderful people put into it im sure its great. i did find a third prisoner who wants to go. the merchant in the fire temple but i failed to get him to take me there or show me on my map.

this may actually explain my problem....on the front end, i have 5.0.0 installed and patched to 5.0.2. now on the right hand side it tells me that it is patched. but on the list of moduals( on the left) it says toee and under it 5.0.0 is it supposed to have a third modual that says 5.0.2 or is this right?

tommy, it looks like your install didn't go correctly. You must have missed a patch, or something just installed incorrectly on its own. It wouldn't be the first time that's happened.

I'd try getting your characters and save files and moving them to another part on your computer, then try re-installing and seeing if everything is alright after that.

Nope, no new module will be there. Everything worked fine before you installed 5.0.2?

You don't need to uninstall Front-End--just the module.

do i have to delete the modual before reinstall? or just do that .rar insert again?
yes all was fine before 5.0.2

I don't think it's necessary to delete it-- just unzip the files again, then re-activate. Someone correct me if I am wrong.

call me stupid but i guess i didnt read ALL instructions careful! i had forgoten to delete pyc files. im so sorry i am a nussance however i think i owe you all a great big thank you!!!!! i cant wait to see the new areas and i thank you all again for your dedication to such a great game!

thank you guys after uninstall and reinstall of mods everything works great! with just a few ctd i have not stopped playing since i finished reinstall! long night! thank you guys for the help and great game!!!!

Yeah we are pretty friggin awesome... says the girl who has done absolutely nothing to promote the mods or otherwise help the community.
