Hello, I'd like to introduce myself, Bernardo Guzman from Mexico City, I met D&D at a summer camp in 1992 and started buying my books and so in 1999, I really never liked wizards and other spell casters except for the bard (my favorite characters are a half-orc bard and from mistara a rakasta bard) so I keep playing those chars as a tradition. I bought ToEE a few months ago and beated the game in different ways by now without cheats or mods and now I'm playing agaoin with cheats and mods, now the problems I have encountered are:

a bug with my half orc bard, when I get to choose my 6 level spells I just cant drag them to the repective space of my spellbook so I just can't keep leveling up.

and a doubt about wizards, I started learning quite a bit well on managing wizards in ToEE specially when I'm DMing in the tabletop I got so confused with the spells of my players until now... anyway I don't know how to make a wizard in ToEE learn spells from scrolls, I don't know if it has been an earlier post on this, if so I didn't found any.

I'd apreciate any help and I'm open to anything I can help in.

Regards Bernardo Guzman better known as Mosco.

First you identify the scroll with a read magic or an identify spell. Then, if it's a wizard spell, you put the scroll into the wizard's inventory, select the wizard and open his radial menu. One of your choices will be "copy scroll". That's the one you want. Pick that and pick the scroll you want to learn. When you do, the game will roll a "spellcraft" check to see if you are successful. If you are, the spell will be added to your spellbook and the scroll will disappear. If you fail, you keep the scroll and can't try again until you add a point to spellcraft the next time you level up. So, your wizard will need a good spellcraft ranking to copy scrolls. (It's best to save before trying, and just reload if you fail, but that's cheating).
    I hope that helps.

Have yopu tried Drifter's Bard bug fix? It might help.

Otherwise, I am afraid your bard will have to multi-class. The game is not designed for level 6 spellcasting, and while some kind souls here are doing all they can to introduce them, that sounds like a hard-coded issue that will be a pain to deal with (though hopefully someone will!) Have to deal with it unfortunately. :(
