apparently. modifying start_equipment.mes doesn't change a dang thing about what equipment you start off with. any clues? --- ps: don't gimme flack, that's how I play games. (I haven't got past the opening sequence at all..)
replacing an Id number with another doesn't appear to do anything, but adding a new number at the end of the sequence will put that item in your inventory.

According to people in the know,originally right after character creation you went into a merchant and could buy your equipment. Just a matter of re-enabling it like the brothel was re-enabled.I aint for sure how to go bout it unfortunately or id tackle it. qwert
