Circle of eight Site is infected???? When I just moved aroumd the Site I was warned that the site is infected and it might attack my system. Haven't had any problems with that on other sites. Can it be that there is any kind of attack on your site?
Re: Circle of eight Site is infected???? I get a warning from Firefox, but when I check the details it basically says nothing was found. It did say the site was reported once in the past 90 days.
Getting a Reported attack page When I navigate to Co8.org I keep getting a "Attack Page Warning. Also where the flash type adds usually are I have an "Attack Page Warning". Could someone add code to your address to give it a false positive and then redirect for a fix. I noticed the so called warning has a "fix" button.
Re: Circle of eight Site is infected???? If you're using Firefox or Chrome, you've probably seen a warning about malware on the site today. What's actually happened is that one of the ads served by one of the advertising providers was apparently malicious. It's been taken out since then but the whole site's been flagged for it. I've put in a request with Google to take down the notices but it's probably going to take some time, unfortunately. So don't worry about using the site, this is just Google being extra careful.
My opera browser joined the party' it too gives a 'fraud warning' This rather unpleasant , while use older co8 member know this site to be harmless, the newcomers on the other hand may be discouraged from accessing the site again hopefully this mess gets sorted out quickly.
It was lifted from the Codex too, so it should be good. But on my site it flagged one of the game trainers (doh...) as malicious and I can't request another review until later because one was done recently. Just awesome.
Google's completely messed up. It doesn't even list any malware under Co8 and it still says it contains malicious content. Just unbelievable. I've put in a request to review the site again since they're not even reporting anything. This whole thing is apparently pretty much automated so nobody is responsible for anything... and if you fall pray to their half-assed filters, good luck getting out.
