    Hello co8 modders!

Have any of you checked out the TSI games website? Apparently a new gaming company formed from alumni of SSI that created the "gold box" games in the early 90's... Anyway, got me thinking those old games would be perfect for a modern remake in an engine like toee. Too bad toee doesn't have builder tools like nwn so I realize it's a pipe dream, but how sweet Errol out be to play pool of radiance, champions of krynn and the rest in toee?

We have tools for building mods, what we lack mostly is decent 2D isometric maps, and various 3D monster animated models.

Maps...it's always the maps. Most of the monsters from por would exist, but yeah the later games got more expansive. Can't wait to see what you do with icewind dale!

Hmmm, I can try giving it a go sometime, but in general I am rubbish with anything having to do with art work. I'll give it a shot.

Heh, why do you think I went with a remake of a game with maps that were already compatable. ;)

Official Co8 stuff demands a standard at least matching the original game, but there is no reason anyone couldn't use isometric map generators to make small (or big) modules like PoR. As long as it's fun to play folks will be grateful.
