Loved the first book, but the others lost something, imo weren't nearly as good. Maybe just how long it took for them to come out.
N0r was i, i was looking to see if Martin had finsihed the book series and found he was involved in the HBO instead!, so a good news baqd news kinda deal...... HBO area busy bunch, what with this and a series on WBTS focused on Lincoln.
I found all but the last to be even in quality/concept, but then i had teh advatage of getting them all together and treading in sequence. Salavotre, Drizzt series is another than has peaks and troughs, most are very good and then the author seems to produce a book that seems out of place or, less than it shoulod be.
