Tried downloading several attachments from the forum threads, namely Sir_Toejam's NPC levelup fix, my Burne's puzzles and Beaujim's texture fix: http://www.co8.org/forum/attachment.php?s=&postid=5323 http://www.co8.org/forum/attachment.php?s=&postid=5575 http://www.co8.org/forum/attachment.php?s=&postid=5710 None of them work. All downloads result in a error which says the zipped file isn't complete and missing several bytes. Wonder if the recent forum downtime might have had something to do with this? Downloads hosted by the main site: http://www.co8.org/files/patch/ToEE_Circle_of_Eight_Release_303.rar and by other individual sites: http://www.kasec.org/toee/dev_helper_v2.1.zip http://home.rochester.rr.com/hold4nomad/ToEE_Fan_Fixes_V3-0-3.zip still work of course.
As would I. And I'd like to thank whatever caused this crash, as it let me know where to find said file, given that no one could be bothered to answer my question on the subject in the forums.
Exitium just replied to my post: "The recent forum downtime was definitely the reason those attachments don't work anymore - the hard drive the server was on got corrupted and some parts of the forum stopped working, including those files. Unfortunately I do not have the original files so I can't upload them. If you manage to get them, send them over to this email address and I'll upload them to the FTP." I'm really sorry. I've contacted Sir_Toejam but he doesn't seem to have a copy either (had a hard disk problem). I'll try to redo the fix or get him to do redo it but it may take a little while. We may need to reupload all attachments.
