Okay, so I looked around the forum for a while but didn't find anything about RESUMMONING familiars. Initially I messed up and gave my sorcerer a bad familiar, so I dismissed it: giving me the warning I cannot resummon for an entire year and a day... I did this anyways and was wondering if that is accurate, must I actually wait 366 in-game days in order to resummon, oddly I don't see ANY mention of this act taking place on the guides or anything... could someone explain better? should I just /Give my sorcerer a new summon and not worry about the whole year thing?
Your better off dismissing the sorcerer and adding a new one at the inn. Yes you will have to wait 366 days to summon a new one. This is the same in P&P game.
Well i guess that is an option: I could always regain the lost exp and just transfer his gear to one of the other people in the party.
A new issue arose when I attempted to make the character leave and bring him right back, it still claims he's in the party, even if I kill him and dismiss him, it still says he's in the party.
