Is my familiar supposed to be gaining experience and levels when out of the backpack and participating in battles? Also if my max party size is set to the default of 5 and I have 5 characters one of them a wizard and he calls his familiar (making it 6 now) then that familiar dies in battle then there is technically no more allotted room for him when resurrected or brought back form raise dead right? I hope that scenario is not to long winded. I ask this because this scenario happened and my familiar has never worked properly since.
