maybe stupid question, and maybe i chose the wrong forum (sorry if yes), but... the question is: how should i know what is doing for example cloak of elvenkind?.. no, i understand, if i look at my 'hide' skill i'll see that there are 5 points from it, but - shouldn't it be written on general info when i hover the mouse onto the damned cloak??... cause i don't like the idea to check every skill with every new magic item i find.... thanx
I'm going to start working on filling in the blanks, in the long_desciption.mes file, just hold tight, i'll post it when i'm done.
The cloak of elvenkind already has a long description. You just need to hold shift and click on the item to see it. And of course you'll have to identify the item beforehand.
Also, I'm pretty sure you have to move a magic item to your inventory (i.e. unequip it) before shift clicking on it will yield any additional description. And, of course, it must first be identified, as noted above.
Ok here you go, I've added a whole bunch of descriptions just drop this in your data/mes folder and overwrite the old one. [EDIT] 1 minor Error caused me a WHOLE LOT of problems with Agetians new tool, so I've disabled this version, please download the next one.
