I know that my latest favorite whipping boy in the gaming world is Star Citizen , but has anyone else noticed the latest EVE Online adverts? One simply states "EVE Online: Be the villain". Wow! I thought that was 99% of the EVE population??? At least they're doing truth in advertising here. The other advert (for Valkyrie I think?) shows a man and woman rendered with what looks like the in-game engine, and when looking at their rather stern faces some choice words come to mind like cold, cruel, humorless, arrogant, heartless, and Nietzschean. Definitely not exactly what you would call nice church-going people. In looking at them I'm reminded of the statue of the 'evil god' in the great Twilight Zone episode called 'The Little People'.
