    As I have been reading the forums over the last few weeks, I have seen a few threads about adding end game content post Temple. I am playing through my first 5.0.5 verison game, done almost every quest, and I feel I will have cleared the temple fully, done moat house twice, Verbonac, HB, and GW and finish around level 14 (6 character party).

    My first question: Is there content/quests allready in 5.0.5 for post temple?

    Second Question: If content were to be developed, what would be considered challenging? I have thought of a couple of mods I would like to develop to expand the story line, but the constant problem I see is that my characters at lvl 14 are too strong.

    At level, I have the staff of fire and staff of frost. These easily handle any force I face in mass. If there is a major large boss, I can summon the node bosses with the orb to destroy my foe.

    My question posed to the community is this: What type of battles do you think you would struggle with? I have ideas for epic storylines, but how to make the battles hard with those 2 staffs and the orb is hard for me to figure out.

    @Ranth -

    At this time there is no content that is specifically situated after the end of the original game. We hope to change that in future. As for challenging content, I guess that's open for debate. ;)

    I think it's one of those well known problems in D&D, at least 3rd ed D&D, where the game stops being fun at very high levels. Let's face it, the really fun and challenging battles are those mid level battles - the Tower Brigands, the Imeryds Run fight, the Traders' ambush...

    As for the Orb, it's hinted in the game that it could corrupt its user somehow. Is the module more specific about this? Perhaps some adverse effects could be added?

    But then again, it's not the only Uber artifact in the game - don't forget Scather and Fragarach (which are somewhat worse in the sense that they can make the game easy even earlier).
