The only 2 things I remember from the T1 module from years ago, was Elmo, Lareth and the big fight at the end. If you compare them they are very similar. Both have real good ability scores. Elmo has his axe and Lareth has his staff. Lareth had +1Plate, Elmo has magic chainmail and shield. Both have 40+HP. Lareth was standing in the doorway when Elmo attacked. The rest of the party were still fighting the guards Talk about melee. It was a long , intense encounter and the issue was always in doubt. Now Lareth has a magic breastplate AC+6, with AC19 overall. Elmo is AC22 and has the edge. Lareth is static and just stands there til he's beat to death. NOT the same fight. Liv is working on it.
i took elmo into daikon woods, kicked him off the party, and then killed him for XP and loot. (I did not get the killer of homlet thing btw!). Then, later, I fought larath because he kept on calling me weak and sick. And then I slaughtered him because the fucker offered me a single jewel of his for his surrender, and the location of the temple, while STILL bad mouthing me. BTW, elmo had 2 magic weapons... but he only uses one... it sold for good cash though.
