Elmo has Scather kind of by default, because he has exoticwepsprof and so does Fruella. I know Elmo is good alignment, but Fruella i'm not sure of. Scather seems to work good with Elmo but he doesn't get the AoO, so I wonder does the game even give alignment to npc's? The reward encounter gave Scather to my wizard(CG), and she gave it to Elmo.
Yup, they have alignments in protos.tab, col 113: they get dieties too. Fruella is some sort of neutral for memory... <powers up Proto Ed> Well well, true neutral. Funny she wanted to convert to St Cuthbert not Jaroo's Jolly NatureFreaks. Goes to show the value of building large churches.
