    how do you use drow armor? every time i equip it and go to a new map my game faults out.

    It shouldn't be used by player characters, that's why. :>
    You either have typed in a wrong proto number with
    the console while trying to obtain it. This causes CTD
    on changing location.

    There is indeed a spelling mistake in the one of the spider silk armor files that was causing the CTD I've fixed the problem in my files and will update the CMF In due time.

    wielding ranger ones. ;) :peace:

    Honestly? I thought it was only meant to be for elf models so that's why
    it crashes.
    I guess being a smart ass doesn't always have to turn up good.

    not Drow, but how about a medium-level half-orc dual wielding ranger ones, instead..?
    elves..? no, but orcs need some of that new kinda maggit-made armor, too, peops..! :p

    Just for the record....

    Anyone can like any kind of character they wish. :roll: Just expect to get made fun of if it's some angsty-outcast type who dual wields anything...especially if they are drow. You're new here, and we don't want to offend or run of new members, so gird yourself for it, 'cause it's coming. Just don't take it personally when it does, and you'll fit right in.

    Well perhaps his krunchiness can assimilate this, obviously I'm referring the the Linear Guild's Drow Wizard who's name is an anagram of Drizzt. ;)

    RA Salvatore was the author who created Drizzt, the misunderstood Drow who is not a typical backstabbing and murderous evil dark elf, but rather a chaotic good twisted soul with a screwed up self-image and life.

    I still like the old fashioned idea of drow armor working in darkness and losing its magic power when exposed to daylight.

    but ummm, is there a reason normal drow armor disconnects me when im playing? i mean why allow somoene to console it in if they cant friggin use it?





    and how do i get a .net framework for the ToEE editor to work, im good at maps lol, gonna make a version for the original battle that caused zuggtmoy to be sealed in temple by mages.

    Icer, I've consoled all of the Drow items myself, and changed maps (which is the problem you've described) and fixed the broken Spider Silk Armor in my own files (the fix hasn't been uploaded yet) and the others work just fine.

    You can download Microsoft.NET 2.0 or 3.0 from the Microsoft website www.microsoft.com

    If your good with maps, perhaps there is a need for your services in the KotB development team? perhaps you should PM Shiningted offering your services? I think it's a little early to start making maps for the Queen of the Spiders module. ;)
