Different bug. Party does not appear on map when going to a different area. Whats happening is when you zone into an area and begin combat immediately no one on the map "appears". However the circles are there and it conducts the battle as if everything is okay. The problem with this is NPCs can function on their own and attack you but you can't move or attack because there is nothing to click on. EDIT: Tested this some more. Regardless if you are in battle or not whenever you zone into a new area you don't appear on the map. This could be random battle, or say going to Moathouse. I tried going into sneak mode prior to moving to different zone so I cant be detected. Still the same. Characters do not appear on map.
That's the Deklo Grove? I just had a run over there and everything was fine. Have you been playing with protos.tab and/or any other game files, per the Scather/looting threads?
Yes, I have and to be specific protos tab and changing the scather/fragarach textures and icons to their original. I fail to see how that could have impacted what I am experiencing. I keep a log of all changes I made and those were the only ones. Just for SnG I restored the original files and running into the same issue still.
Nothing with NPC looting and the 'share amount' protos.tab column you mentioned in the other thread? Nothing else of any sort? Not sure what else to tell you. It's working fine for me, which means you've most likely installed improperly or you've damaged your install somehow through edits.
Okay I've isolated the issue. It has to do with the widescreen resolution and this mod. When I set it to custom 1920x1080 (native resolution of my lcd) I am getting the above problem. However setting it to a lower resolution fixes it. If I remove Co8 and play with the higher resolution it works perfectly fine. So for whatever reason this mod just doesnt like 1920x1080 widescreen?
Sorry, I should have caught that - that is indeed a widescreen limitation. See this thread: http://www.co8.org/forum/showthread.php?t=5629 Anything above 1650 x 1080 is simply not supported by ToEE, mods or no. Our mods should have little effect, with the only effect being a positive one: one of the problems encountered by too large a screen is 'screen-shake,' which occurs because the map limits (the limit to how far you can scroll in any direction) on any given map may be less than the size of the screen. We have increased map limits on maps where this has been observed to be an issue. We've also increased map limits on maps where your starting position would cause the screen to jerk when you first attempted to scroll.
