Hi all, haven't been here for a while. Playing through 7.5NC I've noticed some strange issues with dex bonuses being limited by items that shouldn't have any effect at all. I've included 4 screenshots of my fighters unequipped stats and AC breakdown, and then the bugged results from an item. the one I chose as an obvious issue was the Gloves of Dex+4, but my Bracers of Archery and Mithral Shirt result in the same thing. Several of my characters are having this issue. It only affects AC calculations not reflex saves or dex based attack bonuses.
I've had a Major Circlet of Blasting restrict the Dex bonus to 0 on my fighter, for some weird reason. (Not that she can actually use it, I discovered later.)
I guess I was mistaken.. It's only the fighter that has the odd dex capping. The others get the appropriate dex cap for the armor but it doesn't affect initiative, reflex saves or attack bonuses. The fighter I took the screenshots of does not have dodge. My cleric/fighter and bard/fighter with dodge do not have the problem. My rogue, sorcerer, Zaxis, Spugnior, and Ronald without dodge do not have the problem. I'm fairly certain that Elmo at level 7 with dodge did not have this problem. The fighter has all the basic fighter feats along with: Weapon focus, specialization, greater focus: Longbow Weapon focus: Glaive Improved Initiative Point Blank Shot Rapid Shot Manyshot Precise Shot
The bug seems to have resolved itself. Not sure what changed. I added the talents WF: Glaive, and Improved Crit: Longbow. I don't remember having any status effects. I guess whatever it is, it isn't permanent.
