I have been unhappy with the OotS forums lately (a place I lurk but rarely post) because there seems to be an overabundance of folks there who have to type every inane thing that comes into their minds. At least in the comic forums (the other forums are actually quite good). So I got a pleasant surprise while reading a homebrew thread and came across something so common-sensically clever that it stopped me dead in my tracks. He's right, you know. In real life, ordinary guards really do use other animals to be their eyes and... well, noses. (Thread in context HERE.)
