"Craft wondrous items" - descriptions of items missing?

    I just learned that feat and was wondering if what I am noticing is a bug or not.

    In the list of Craft Wondrous Items, most of the craftable items do not have a description of what they do. Some are self explanatory but some are not.

    Is there a list I could check somewhere?

    I found this exceptionally irritating also. I haven't memorized any of the DMG's books past 1st edition but you could probably find every item description in the Dungeon Master's Guide, 46 and 7/8's edition.

    Heck, I play D&D 3.5 and I don't even remember what most of the wondrous items do. I keep a browser open with my favourite SRD site on it for those times that I try to craft wondrous items. However, a description for the wondrous items in the game would be nice...ahem....if anybody wants to fix that.

    Perhaps you could post which items you would like to know about and others can fill in what they do based on what they know.;)

    I saw Lord Plothos on the theWitcher forum. He's still around, but does'nt long_description.mes give all the parameters?

    I tihnk he is refering to knowing what the stuff does before you make it: long_description.mes only works for things that are already in your pack.
