    Is there anyway for me to advance any plot on Corl and link him to Smigmal(sp?) in the game? As far as I've been able to take it is revealing that he poisoned Black Jay's sheep and when you talk to him afterwards all you can say is "I plan to turn you in" but to whom? Since neither Kenter nor Burne seem to say something and you only get lip service from his dad. Or was the connection between Corl and Smigmal never shown in the game?

    According to posts made by Gaear, there are, and never will be any way you can get Corl to reveal who is pressuring him into poisoning Black Jay's sheep. Gaear did say that at some point in one of the upcoming releases, the poor lad will get assassinated by temple forces.

    Heh, that's close, TRC. ;)

    Actually there never was any way to get Corl to reveal who he was working for, even in vanilla, and it always was the case that you could discover later (given the right conditions) that he had been murdered by Smigmal Redhand's crew, thus pointing the finger at her.

    Wouldn't it be considered mercyful and compassionate to kill him now instead of letting evil people get ahold of him and do whatever they are going to do to him? I think so.

    Hi Gaear
    I knew that you couldn't get him to reveal who was forcing him to "plant" the plants as it were. Does he get rubbed out in Vanilla ?? I will confess, I never checked up on him after I had completed the quest.

    Thanks, so How do you get the evidence to point to Smigmal after he's been killed. I know that he suddenly disappears but I've never been able to get Smigmal to admit or get any kind of item that points his death to her.

    Smigmal will just volunteer the information if you do the hostile-once then hostile-twice routine with her. I think. Her dialog may have also been broken before, can't quite remember.

    I'll actually have to look that over again (the Smigmal part) since we'll be going back to the "Look there on the ground! ... plants, plants in the field!" method with Corl next release.

    What is the estimate on the Next release?

    Also- there used to be a way to include DH if you wanted it, and leave it out if you didn't, in the Old FE, I was wondering if there was anyway that could be done with the Corl/Black Jay threads and the Jayfie one? The Corl one, at least, makes more since to me.
