30) UI Clarification: SKILLS that you have not allocated any points in yet and are "TAUGHT" only skills should come up in a different colour so you know that your effective ability with this skill is really ZERO if you have not spent any points in it.. (also should say so in the calculation window to the right) these are: USE MAGIC DEVICE TUMBLE SPELLCRAFT SLEIGHT OF HAND OPEN LOCK DISABLE DEVICE Also are these skills even learnable to somebody who does NOT have 1 level in a class that has that in their skill list? I'm not sure about the rulings on CROSS-CLASS skills for 3.5... 31) I saw the "elementals" summoned by creatures are considered enemies of the summoner. Initially I thought it was some cool infighting between a water and fire elemental. (the fire elemental was already in the room) **SPOILER** In the level 4 temple room (north east of map) of the wizard commander, with a large elemental of each type within. 32) DESIGN FLAW: Invisibility is TOO good.. normally invisibility only stops creatures seeing you , not hearing you... creatures should get listen checks... If they DO hear you they should go into an aggressive search mode, which could even involve randomly hitting out at things (maybe implemented by attacking you if you get within melee range 15% of the time) 33) the bandits on level 2 at the end of the long wide corridor (opposite end to the mirror of deceit) when I approached one saw me and ran inside the room to alert the others (cool I thought) then combat ensued, I stayed just outside the door and let them come to me. then they proceeded to come out.... ALL OF THEM.. they overlayed the position just outside the door so there was about 15 brigands on the one location all swinging at my 3x melee types around the door entrance.. needless to say it got pretty with the many armed brigand with 10 attacks a round. 34) The help for 2-weapon fighting style, (when I looked at elmo's feats) takes you to the help for "maximize spell" (many other In-game help problems as well) 35) LOOTING: (often mentioned design flaw) the npc thief (Wicked) and a few other "greedy" looters pick up items they cant use (and get encumbered and complain about it heh ).... nor do they sell them, and never identify them. Also there should be a way to upgrade their equipment without them "hanging" on to their old armors that they wont sell. OPTION 1 Henchmen could loot only gems and money OPTION 2 Maybe you could initiate dialog with them and BUY the items from them as if they were a "cheap" shop. OPTION 4 Have another "attribute" on items in addtion to "NPC OWNED" , have a status "NPC LOOT" which they wont give up but will sell in the next shop they visit. OPTION 5 Have the NPC's identify items better than what they have and equip them and mark them as "NPC OWNED" but only something they can actually use. 36) "Track" ability of rangers (and travel clerics) needs fixing: the UI that comes up has these problems: *) the portrait of the person doing the tracking does not appear fully within the window. (only in res >800) *) Tracks alive and dead creatures that had no way of travelling through the area you are currently tracking from. (design limitation of the track feature probably) (to fix this simply work out the "tracks" of all creatures currently in the area once when you enter an area. ie remember them all, then return tracking directions and creatures based on skill level, proximity to the tracker. ) 37) Deleting a save game file (from the save a game UI) , strangely re-orders the list so after that the save games you see on screen change as you click on them. (I think it changes the order from top to bottom to bottom to top) 38) Hold-person failed due to his "size" (as the message said) even after an enlarge ran out (hendrack) 39) Dialog Problem: when hendrack summons IUZ , if you choose "run for your life" you get an additional dialog from IUZ and then some dialog with kelso (who was already dead and had nothing to do with me being there with hendrack this game) before it returns to combat with IUZ..., St. Cuthbert still arrives to save your butts a little later. 40) IUZ leaves a permanent purple smoke trail in the shape of his body after he leaves with st. Cuthbert to "discuss" their differences. (unless this is a feature?) 41) Metamagic UI picks the wrong spell to modify (specialist wizard with at least one metamagic feat like heighten spell) Clicking on the small TARGET symbols can bring up ny spell usually level 0 spells.. also metmagic spells cant be deleted.
