Everytime I try to load something, bring up new tabs, etc., it takes forever and I get a message saying a script isn't loading, but when I click continue it eventually does.

    What is this from?

Try running Internet Explorer with no add-ons and see if that helps. On my computer it is located in the start bar, under All Programs -> Accessories -> System Tools. (Though I don't know if it started in that location or if I moved it there once...)

I don't use explorer, I use firefox. We just had a big storm, some lightning right overhead, the lights flickered, kicked me off the internet, etc. When I got back on, the problem was fixed. And I had relogged several times before with no change.

    That's almost funny.

Sounds like the problem was with your service provider's connect speed more than anything else. Glad the issue resolved itself.
