Sewer. Septic system. Drainage tunnels. Whatever you want to call it. (lol, I don't think modern technology is likely being used in D&D, so it's probably just a drainage system, but) The runoff has to go somewhere in a city with paved streets, so welcome to the Verbobonc underground.

How do you get there? Well, remember all those wells that have sprouted up all over town with the texture upgrades?

Great - another little map of a hole that is supposed to represent a sewer for a big city! No, this one spans the entire town and is literally the same size as Verbobonc. To give you some context, the largest ToEE dungeon covers maybe a third of the size. Prepare to get lost. :p

Great - another 'dungeon!' Well hey, this is Dungeons and Dragons. You either get overland maps, building interiors, or dungeons. That's about it. ;)

So what the hell is going on down there? Water is running, silly. ;) And who knows what else?

Wait - there's already the gnome tunnels! These are different - different locale, different elevation, different altogether. The two are not connected at all.

Wait - there's already the ruined church tunnels! These are those, expanded many times over in size. That means that Lhizeas will be wandering around down there ... somehwere ...

Will Bane be down there forming an army like in Dark Knight Rises? No, lol.

When do we get to go down? Co8 Modpack version 7.4, due end of August.

    :mrhappy: Should be fun.

I don't know, but the nodes are not really either of those 3 :p

Hey, maybe you should build in another quest: "The Ratcatcher of Verbobonc"

There has been a sudden increase of cases of child-disappearances. The cityfolk would pay handsomely to see their offspring back...

Turns out that the citycouncil did not pay the ratcatcher his money for a job well done in the past, and now this Bard/Fighter comes out of the sewers at night, abducting children with his magic flute (which turns them into rats). And offcourse, these rats fight along his side, and are surprisingly skilled in battle... (You know, with the Animal Familiar NPC trick)

I know, I know... not a very original story arc :p

    !!! Wicked !!!

(Now....if I can find some competent cooks to staff my kitchen by than....
anyone here that^^ plus living in Montreal?)

I LOVE vast dungeon crawls even when the 'ecology' is .... questionable.

I hope we'll get to see some of the beasts that make a limited showing in vanilla ToEE like carrion crawlers, lamias, leucrotta, basilisks.... a cave full of minotaurs and a lake swimming with giant crayfish!

hall of mushrooms....maybe could even mod some mycanoids...!?
    ehh. :)
I am delirious with joy. Thanks Gaear and whomever else is in your posse!

Yes, your castle and the ruined church still lead to the same place, which is now the drainage system.

That reminds me - I wanted to start collecting taxes!

Probably a 'progressive' system too, where the rich (you) pay more of their fair share. :p
