I've noticed lately that a lot of members have taken to making posts with multiple colors of text. Yay! One thing that's oftentimes slightly less yay though is the choice of colors. I would ask members who post this way to bear in mind that the forum is actually available in two skins - Co8 Obsidian and vBulletin 3. vBulletin 3 has a generally white-ish background that makes light colored text extremely difficult to see and essentially requires that the reader highlight it. This gets aggravating after a while. To wit: As you can see, yellow and cyan are kind of harsh as well, and other very light colors that may work well in Obsidian don't show up well in vBulletin. So what is the solution? There are a few colors that work well with both skins: Sienna looks nice. So does teal. Also various shades of medium gray can be effective. Switch back and forth between skins on the bottom left of each page to see for yourself what works and what doesn't, and please take it easy on us vBulletin 3 users! Thanks.
