If you have any of otis's named equipment in your inventory he will attack you. Either drop them on the ground or sell them to his vender. his chest by the forge does not go away. If you want to take them just visit the forge at night. i
ToEE with Temple+ has non-core spells as well. A quick Google search for D&D 3.5 <SPELL NAME> revealed ray of clumsiness and lesser vigor.
I thought they were part of the game or Co8 since even without enabling the extra options I get them. Also, those links seem to be linkrotted. Although I get the swashbuckler as a class upgrade option on levelup without Temple+ extra options. Also is there a levelup console command bug not working if your level is 1 level lower than Temple+ max level?
Non-core spells like Ray of Clumsiness which were added in Co8 can't be disabled in Temple+ Configurator (if that's what you were trying to do). Non-core classes can be disabled. If you have "Non-Core Materials" option unchecked in Temple+ Configurator but still have them in the game, then it's a bug. I don't remember if I ever tried setting "10" as level cap in Temple+. But if you have this issue, then just set it to "50" (the max value supported by Temple+) and you should be fine.
The non-core spells added by Co8 can't be disabled (pretty sure), because their spell numbers are low enough that they're currently classified as core spells. I'm working on a feature that allows classifying them correctly, so that non-core spells with low numbers and core spells with high numbers will be enabled appropriately. Haven't finished it yet, though. Also, I can use the levelup command to go all the way to 10.
Wait. Are you the Temple+ developer? I'm now thinking that the levelup problem is because I was using the new dwarf subrace. What does a level adjustment do? Is Ray of Clumsiness and Vigor, Lesser the only co8 added non-core spells and what are the mistakenly noncore core spells? I'm guessing both co8 and Temple+ also adds core spells not added. Sorry, new to tabletop.
I'm not the only one. Level adjustment means your character acts as if it were a higher level than it is in terms of class levels. So yes, a Duergar's maximum level is 9 with a level cap of 10. This is supposed to offset it having more powerful abilities. Off the top of my head, those are the only two non-core spells in Co8. I might have missed some, though. And Temple+ adds Wall of Fire and Disrupting Weapon at spell numbers that will be treated as non-core, even though they are core spells.
I guess Hail of Stone is Temple+? Btw, are all these looted platinum rings, necklaces, garnets, hoodless circlets, pearls, pendants, ambers, basic crowns and figurines useful at all or are they just all sells? Also, how do I make Touch of Fatigue work? And what's considered the best familiar? They all seem to have really low hp. I guess it doesn't matter since it takes a year to replace it and I've already chosen rat. And why do I get 0 HP damage? I thought minimum weapon damage is 1. Is it damage reduction in the undead in Emridy Meadows?
I was able to paralyze Tolub unconscious with a non-lethal last hit for his 70 HP from my monk's fists and loot him and strip him bare. He kept begging for a brawl after and didn't say he gave me gold but I could not interact with him. I didn't try to go out the tavern and go in again after that and I reloaded from auto-save instead. Is this a bug? I don't know what triggered the looting - successive tries worked as intended. I would've identified his magic ring and items if I knew where to rest in Nulb. Second, is two-handing longsword not possible? It doesn't seem to give me the option unlike dwarven waraxe. I thought all non-light non-rapier one-handed weapons can be two-handed? Third, does Blame Game (kill Alrrem) give you a poison in your inventory or does it automatically not need an inventory slot? My character seemed to have had full inventory while I accepted the quest. If so, what's the console command to get the poison? Fourth, Ok how did this guy grind to level 8 with 8 characters? I was level 4 when I got to the temple dungeon with 6! Fifth, isn't the default level cap 10? Did the mod (either new content or vanilla) change it? Did ToEE ship with all the inaccessible by level cap spells by default or did the mod add them later? Pretty weird to not have PC have the spells coded in the game. Also what? I'm guessing that's what happens when you add too many metamagic feats in a high enough level spell.
Ok. Maybe I'm just an early game level 10 andy but there seems to be no point in the Spell Focus: Transmutation/Divination/Illusion and thus gnome/maybe Conjuration as opposed to the ever useful Evocation/Enchantment focuses. Am I wrong? I can only think of Color Spray, Glitterdust and Web as an exception although Conjuration is a prerequisite for Augment Summoning. There just seems to be a dirge of Illusion, etc. spells to apply spell focus on https://co8.org/community/threads/w...to-new-content-8-1-0.11739/page-2#post-139710 in this game making them pointless. Can't have my illusory Fireball casting Gnome. That race seems pretty pointless too since its only advantage is gone. Also I'm curious about the above bug. Apparently, I can also attack with my shield. What weapon focus does that use since I assume it can miss. My wizard also keeps getting less experience and leveling up later than the other characters who all have the same xp. No crafting. Why? And what do I do with all the Divine scrolls? Don't I eventually get all of them as Clerics or Druids or do one get to learn from the scrolls of the other? What's the point of divine scrolls? I at least learned I can copy scrolls as Wizards but how about Sorcerers? Note: AI-generated. Just a comparison with ToEE
No. She's a Strongheart Halfling. My wizard is a conjuration wizard. Maybe not doing damage makes the game think you didn't contribute? I also had experience with Druegar Monk and they level up at the same time as other party members so that's definitely not what's happening. Edit: Oh. It might be to my familiar dying. What do familiars do in this game anyway? They're bad at combat. 3 damage masterrace! Maybe I'm just bitter about my Gnome Beguiler Also NEW BUG ALERT! My familiar leveled up and was able to take class levels.
