Bought a new comp a few days ago and I'm in the process of installing the whole TOEE shabang on it. As usual I'm following Zebedee's stickied TOEE instructions thread, never had a problem before. But now on Step 5 after downloading Co8 5.0.0 and Running it (from the usual option to Run or Save this file), I get the message "The setup files are corrupted. Please obtain a new copy of the program." I'm downloading directly from the link in Zebedee's thread. Running Windows XP, followed all the preceding steps as usual. Only one thing I can think of different from my last comp is that this new one already has Microsoft NET 1.1 installed on it, I installed NET 2.0 also, so they are both there. Any suggestions? Thanks!
IMO - First step, delete the original downloaded file [and empty the Recycle Bin] and download a new copy. Note: Also, you might want to disable your live antivirus scan until it [Co8 5 MOD Final executable] is downloaded. You can enable your live antivirus scan after it is downloaded. Run an antivirus scan on it after it is downloaded.
Yes, krunch problem fixed. I just noticed that the mod had only partially downloaded for some reason, and did your first suggestion. Thanks.
