So I was painstakingly getting the wizard Falrinth on Temple level 3 (the guy who has the orb) to behave properly during battle - interrupt at a certain point to take off like he's supposed to do, then do it again after he comes back under decidedly different conditions, and then ultimately get him to say nothing (i.e. generic responses) if you choose to let him off the hook after he begs you for his life and you get info about the orb. Note the "beg for his life" part. Falrinth does this quite literally, saying things like "Please don't hurt me!" and "Oh, please don't kill me!" Well, I got the generic responses to work at the right juncture. And the first thing he said after my test group let him go was: I don't know if this is a shitlist issue or reaction penalty thing I was unaware of or what, but I thought it was hilarious.
