Charm spells and scrolls.

There's a charm animal scroll in one the chests(moathousetower?), but it is a druid spell. If a druid used it, say on the hill giants bear, would the bear turn and fight the hill giant? I know very little about druids, but the hill giant is bad enough and you got this huge bear chewing on you. Anybody got an idea?

 

Aye it works, as does a Doom/Tash combination on the giant.
