I have some suggestions for how to fix Charm and Suggestion:
    • Since Temple+ has nerfed Charm spells by making creatures become Neutral in combat, which is an improvement, why not make it an Out of Combat spell, or at least a spell that does not trigger combat (ai_defensive, right?)? I don't see how we can avoid the -5 penalty because casting offensive spells causes combat to begin.
    • Fascinate would still be different since it requires concentration, right?
    • As for Suggestion, perhaps the affected creature could behave as if under a short duration original-version Charm spell.
The above might be within my limiting modding abilities.

Though I am using TemplePlus and Co8 full content, my charm spells and the like turn the creatures on my side and they help me (Charm Person, Charm Monster, Dominate Monster). Charm Monster for example adds the creature to my party for days (unless you enter a town with a monster pet).

I have not tried Fascinate (Bard song, which seems totally useless in the SNEG version) nor Suggestion though.

I know Marc nerfed charm spells hard for PalCo. Not sure about T+, been playing vanilla for some time.
