The game's default palette is too damn dark, or so it looks on my setup anyway. Fortunately, the game has a menu option to change brightness; unfortunately, that's all that it actually does and the final result isn't exactly appealing visually or ergonomic for that matter (I'm not going to bother you -and myself- with a lecture on what "gamma" actually means and how RGB control differs from brightness/contrast). I just wanted to ask if anyone among you knowledgeable folks knows of a way (through a config file or whatever) to change the game's actual RGB values ? Any info on this would be very appreciated. Disclaimer: any suggestion of changing the actual hardware i.e. monitor settings or similar will be dealt with in proper fashion using a big dwarven battleaxe. TIA eace:
