It seems making a weapon holy requires being good in addition to the Good domain. Silly me for not verifying this sooner, but now I have a chaotic neutral cleric of Kord who can't make me the shiny evil-killies I want. First I wonder if there's a console command to change a character's alignment. Barring that, I wonder if anyone could tell me how to find a character's alignment in the save file for hex editing. I tried figuring it out from the source code of Ferros' ToEE Character Editor, but it...didn't work. Barring that, I wonder if anyone could tell me whether Mother Screng has the Good domain, or that cleric added to the second floor of the church (though I suppose that would be easy enough to find out for myself, and I doubt it if he worships St. Cuthbert). Or if there are any non-cleric NPCs worshipping good deities that I could make into clerics. I want shiny evil-killies.
I believe the console command your looking for is... game.party[X].stat_level_get(stat_alignment,Y) X = the character's party pool number -1 (1st on left = 0, 2nd = 1 etc...) Y = the number for the alignment you want to change to (listed below) 1 = LN 2 = CN 4 = NG 5 = LG 6 = CG 8 = NE 9 = LE 10 = CE
It was game.party[x].stat_base_set(stat_alignment,Y), actually, but the rest was very much correct. I presume no prevarication, and must praise your personage for saving me from my precipitous production of a non-partisan priest who could not pronounce pure and holy my plentiful pile of pointy prizes for perforating pernicious opponents.
It was okay until you wrote "my plentiful pile of pointy prizes for perforating pernicious opponents"...almost sounds like a Kramer on Seinfeld.
Waaaait. You had a chaotic neutral cleric with good and law domain? Is that even possible? It isn't enough that you are a LAWFUL GOOD cleric, you need the correct DOMAINS to cast holy smite and Order's wrath to craft holy and axiomatic items. Hmmm. In a game which depends on crafting so much, that's pretty darn limiting actually. Clerics who can craft holy&axiomatic domains are almost compulsory, powergaming-wise. Edit: No, wait. You *do* have the good domain. Er, I'm confused.
My cleric has the Good and Strength domains. I've never made axiomatic weapons before. Wouldn't work too well in my CG party, anyway Although my fighter is NG... And Serena and Meleny are TN... Dunno what Rianna is... Hmm... perhaps I should still see what that cleric's domains are...
