I downloaded C08 and installed it a few days ago and it was AWESOME to play one of my favorite old school games with the new content. However, every other time I launched the game, it would crash to the desktop and i'd have to "reactivate" and then it would work again for a couple of launches but then back to crashing and I'd have to reactivate again. Finally even the reactivation stopped working. (By the way, nothing changed on my pc during this time. No updates, no new SW or HW...no nothing) I finally uninstalled it and TOEE and did a fresh install. I then patched up to patch number 2 and then installed C08 fresh. Now I can't get past the initialization screen. It gets past the movies...etc. Gets to the initialization screen and then stops responding. I've gone into the cfg and tried changing the resolution. I've set it to launch as administrator. I've tried setting it to launch as as Win xp under compatibility mode and nothing is working. I'm on a Dell Quad core Q6600 2.40ghz - 64 bit Windows 7. 8GB ram. NVIDIA Geforce GTX 460. Any help would be greatly appreciated as the few times I've been able to play, it's been amazing.
