I have tried to get to HB, and have done all quests (and succeeded, even being kind) to Mona, but I cannot illicit a response from her to get to HB, even though my character has a 18 Cha. All she says is "until things come to pass" or something along that line. I would like to go before I am too powerful and it is too easy. Thanks in advance.
when you give back her Orb, you can ask for your destiny... there you'll get various options. Choose "a challenging adventure"
If you didn't choose one of the other options, then no problem, you can decline the offer, and came back later. It worked for me.
I am past that. I found out I did NOT have the 5.4 patch, so I restarted. Yes, I lost everything (sigh). Back to square 1.
I did choose "a challenging adventure" and other than Mona smiling cryptically and saying "as you wish" nothing else happened. Should there be a map icon? Thanks.
No, look at the right side of your map, with the text list of places to go, on that list will be a place marked Hickory.. click it.
I think I'm running too early a version 5.0.0. I'm trying to upload the latest mods now. Thanks for the help!
Ahhhh... if you are running an earlier version, you should be given a map. Check your inventory. If the speaker had a full inventory, then the map has gone into an unseen inventory slot and is kinda lost
I could be wrong and I may of missed it because I don't read every single post, but wasn't Krunch working towards an update of HB??? And while I'm asking. The Emryds respawn? What's happened with that???
Krunch is indeed expanding Hickory Branch. The Imeryds Respawn has been on hold, alas, for a while, to the best of my knowledge.
