I have NO programming or code experience of ANY kind.

They seem to act like anyone can make the modules but one review mentioned having to learn a simplified version of C Basic (I think...)

This reviewer implied that anyone could do it and could do it with no other refernce points BUT the game.

This can't be true can it?

Someone has already done A1 and A2 for NWN1. A4, "Into the Dungeons of the Slave Lords" is my favorite module of all time because of it's original (at the time, MANY video games have ripped it off) challenge... can you survive with no equipment and no magic user spells...

Hmm... although this question is valid here in General Discussion, I'd like to say that it's a little out of place. We have a Temple of Elemental Evil modding community, not a NWN1/NWN2 modding community. We do provide some side support for other Troika games (e.g. Arcanum), but no support for NWN1/NWN2 since obviously they're not Troika games.

If you want to learn to mod the NWN series of games, it's better that you check out the Neverwinter Vault instead - you'll get much more response about NWN questions there than here.

As far as your question goes - yeah, you need to learn a scripting language if you want to learn to mod NWN, just as you need to learn Python if you want to learn to mod ToEE. I guess you need to learn some form of scripting for any modern RPG game.
