Hi, with Liv's 1.5.2, I fought the Hezrou guardian. The stench effect is still the usual pain in the butt, but the most amazing thing is that the guardian got stenched by itself. I spent the whole fight with my bard-acting-like-a-rogue (bard team, remember?) beating him until death with the thorned chain of love, with all my party untouched and with the guardain that wasn't able to do anything else but move (and giving me free AOO). Really, is it possible to modify the stench effect, so that it works like p&p D&D? Alternatively, I would prefer to have noone than that crappy effect that affect the guardian and the elementals too. (and I wonder how, since I can't understand how a water thing may have a nose and get sickened by a stinking smell :writersbl )
i can't remember, but i think i can be made immune to its own stench, could be wrong tho might be thinking of something else
INfact in the previous games, he was immune to his own stench! Now he is no longer, and as well the imps that he summons. More, I did some test and there is no spell able to cure the stench effects, while delay poison and cure poison spells should prevent and cure the effects of the stench.
I shudder to think what Orion's protos.tab looks like :stoned: I have one i fiddle with as things strike me, I only tried using it once - the game CTDed before you could blink!
Sorry, what are u talking about? I understood almost nothing. About my protos, there was a file that now has been lost with the forum renewal and it big try of fixing monsters that was a complete failure, even because it QTD and I have never been able to test it, but teached me many things and I'll try again soon. Now there is a file shared from me that add some "AI-tricking" dual weapons, fixes excalibur, scather, will o' the wisp and Lantern Archon and it does not quit to desktop: I tested it.

Orion, Livonya has posted in other threads that she is giving the Hezrou stench a major overhaul in her next release. So sit tight!
When? Liv is not posting here anymore from long time. I remember that there was a previous post about hezrou's stench because it is just too powerful than the original version but I think that this is the first time when the Hezrou sthenches himself, elementals, quasit and the party. The only safe creature was my puny lanter Archon, that still doesn't to any ranged touch attack and so could strike nothing. Anyway, I wonder when her new MOD will be ready.
