Well, I used boots of speed on the Zuggy fight. Now they don't work anymore, they don't show up in the inventory option to use them
The spell refresh ring ALSO stopped working. Ie: I left it equipped, and it worked for the first times I needed, and now it does not. I know those items are supposed to be refreshed over time, but even so the boots for example are still not working, months after the last time I used them.
I can't help with a fix, but I too noticed the boots of speed stopped working. The item did not even show up as one of the selections on the wheel after a while no matter how long I rested. I believe these were the boots I got from the fighter that hangs out with Senshock on level 4.
Yes, those. They worked for me, once. That was on zugg fight (I never bothered with them before because... I dunno, I suck at this game I don't use most buffing spells). After that it never showed up again on the wheel. I got now a second pair of boots (from the drow ranger in the mithril tools quest), I will see if they stop working too.
Did you try unequipping them and then re-equipping them? I don't know if this will work, but I am curious about it.
Yes. I will also try resting one full day without them equipped, and resting a one full day with them equipped. But not now (it is 2:17 in the morning here...)
I've noticed this too, from the pair that drop on Temple level 4. I've unequiped, transfered to another party member and rested 48 hrs, transfered back and still no radial menu option. I also see it increases AC, primary attack and Reflex by +1 and increases fighter's run speed from 30 to 60 when slotted.
