2 new books coming out that I am following, and one of them certainly is a surprise. I score all my books from the SFBC found here. Tell them I sent you when you join the club and I'll get free books!... http://www.sfbc.com/ The first one is the 13th book in the Wheel Of Time series, Towers Of Midnight. Towers of Midnight Pre-Order today! Item will ship 11/02/2010 With The Gathering Storm, Brandon Sanderson brought fresh energy to Robert Jordan’s epic Wheel of Time saga. Now he returns with the penultimate novel in the series! The second of three based on materials Jordan left behind when he died, Towers of Midnight brings dramatic developments to many threads in the Pattern. The Last Battle has commenced. The seals on the Dark One’s prison are crumbling, and the armies of the Shadow have begun to boil out of the Blight. Threatened by an unseen foe and haunted by specters from his past—Whitecloaks, a slayer of wolves, and the responsibilities of leadership—Perrin Aybara must seek answers in Tel’aran’rhiod and find a way—at long last—to master the wolf within him…or lose himself to it forever. Meanwhile, Matrim Cauthon prepares for the most difficult challenge of his life. He had hoped that his last confrontation with the creatures beyond the stone gateways—the Aelfinn and the Eelfinn—would be the end of it. But the time is coming when he will again have to play a game that cannot be won. The Tower of Ghenjei awaits, and its secrets will reveal the fate of a friend long lost. “Dovie’andi se tovya sagain.” It’s time to toss the dice. The second one is quite surprising since it's been a seriously long time since Stephen R. Donaldson finished the last book of the covenant series. It's called Against All Things Ending. Against All Things Ending Pre-Order today! Item will ship 10/19/2010 Since 1977, Stephen R. Donaldson’s breathtaking saga of Thomas Covenant has captured the imaginations of readers around the world with a richness of worldbuilding, depth of characterization and scope of storytelling rarely seen in fantastic fiction. Now, in Against All Things Ending, third in the Last Chronicles tetralogy, and penultimate book of the entire series, the arduous yet unswerving struggle of Thomas Covenant and Linden Avery against Lord Foul begins to bear fruit. Harnessing all the power entrusted to her, Linden Avery, the Chosen, has committed an act of Desecration: She has brought Thomas Covenant back from the dead. Only he, she is sure, can accomplish the Dark Lord’s destruction. But to her dismay, Covenant has returned diminished, his mind in shatters, his leprosy renewed. Of far greater consequence, his resurrection has roused the dread Worm of the World’s End. After all she has endured, after every trial and battle, Linden’s choices have brought only calamity. And so, with scant days remaining to the Earth, she must bear as much of the cost as her flesh can endure. She must continue to fight—to save her son, Jeremiah, and the Land she loves—against all things ending....
I'm currently reading all of the Dark Horse TPB of The Savage Sword Of Conan. There's 8 of them so far and they are each about 550+ pages. They each have about 11 issues in them. They are excellent.
