Belsornig has told me to kill the prison guards and plant a brown Earth Temple robe on one of them. Unfortunately I dispatched all bugbears in the NE part of this level days ago (I've been exploring furhter down before deciding how to handle Temple politics). So I have no bodies left on which to plant the incriminitaing evidemce, nor can I remember where these prison guards were exactly. Belsornig "knows" I've killed the guards already, but tells me he needs the robe planted on one of them. Any way of dealing with this? Or does it really matter anyways, for example I could just kill Belsorning to fulfill the Earth Temple chief's third quest.
I don't think it's possible to complete Belsornig's third quest if you've already killed the bugbear jailer and his body's gone. Like you said, though, it doesn't really matter. Belsornig doesn't even take you to the greater temple for completing his third quest, unlike the other priests, he just tells you where it is.

Next time, use 'Gentle Repose' while the fella is still alive (during combat) and he will never fade away and can be quested at your leisure.
