So I never tried this when I was playing but when a priest with the Animal Domain has the power to rebuke animals, do those animals count as followers, ie unlimited numbers, or would they count towards the summoning limit?

I believe it would be unlimited but thought I would ask those who know for sure one way or another.

IIrc... when I was playing an evil cleric that gained control of enemies = each control did count towards the summoning limit.

I imagine that would be no different. But I also seem to recall that elemental domains were not successful with rebukes. So not sure if it was not working or if it was just very hard to do.

Hmm ok. Guess I will have to wait when I can play to test this out. Thank you for taking the time to answer.

Any sort of extra followers - charmed, undead, people who just join as followers not proper NPC party members - counts toward the limit.

That sounds reasonable and thank you for taking the time to confirm my initial thoughts.
