. while finishing a task for terjon in the emridy meadows when you get his lost property you also get the ambers a heavy gold chain and a figurine. do these items have any purpose in the game or can i just sell them. im also having problems with the "carpenters dilemma". i cannot get terjon to agree to the conversion. i have finished the "terjon wants more" quest already.
Once identified, the figurine can summon fungi (it's an item created by Zuggtmoys clerics) once per day, but the other items can be sold, it's best to find the jewler Nira Mellub (sp?) as he will give you the best price for your jewels and gems.
Sometimes, there is a price for using items created by the evil ones. Beware of diseases (fungal infestations) when using certain items!
re. Terjon's quest. There are more conversions in town other than Jak. Not got access to the game atm, but the quests are certainly working correctly, so I'm guessing that you aren't talking to the right people. Spoiler!! Marrying Fruella is the third and final conversion and definitely allows you to then help the carpenter. The first conversion is the full heal, there is a second which involves a man who works for the miller. If you can't get Terjon to complete the quest - do all three and then go back to him.
